Welcome to Lauren’s blog– where you can expect me to discuss all things social media. Specifically, I’ll be exploring and experimenting with various social media tools, as well as reviewing books about social media strategies and tactics. In navigating these tools, I hope to develop my knowledge on how that social media is changing the way that organizations interact with their audiences.
If you know me, you’ll know that this is right up my alley as it’s a field that applies directly to my my current job, as well as in previous internships at USA TODAY and SnowSports Industries America.
I’m 22 years old and I live in Washington, DC, where I work at Ogilvy Washington on social marketing campaigns. In my spare time, I love to travel, ski, cook, read, practice yoga, and explore DC. In an ideal world, I’d be a ski bum in the winter and sail through the summer. I recently graduated from American University and am now pursuing a master’s degree part-time from Johns Hopkins University.
